It's a popular aim among film bloggers to see every single film in
the IMDb Top 250. It might seem like a thankless task, given that the
list is constantly changing on account of popular taste, but it's a
useful icebreaker among film fans and a good way to get people talking
about older films.
As you may have noticed from my little widget on the right (available from http://www.250films.net/), I've currently seen 109 films out of the current 250. So, I thought I would post links to reviews of all the ones I've seen, highlighting as I go along the ones I need to see again before I review them. The ones in blue are one I need to see again, while the ones in red are those which scored less than 3/5 and therefore, in my humble opinion, don't really deserve to be there.

I like the idea of this... (I may borrow it for my own blog)... Just one question. This is the IMDb top 250 as of when? I know it changes fairly regularly and so I guess you'd have to anchor it at some date... I enjoy your reviews, Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteThanks SteelMonster, I shall :) In answer to your question, I'm not anchoring it, it's an ongoing project. When I review a film which is in the Top 250 I'll noted its position and the date it was at that position.
